Project: Keyword research, Google Adwords campaign overhaul and management
Image 1st were running their own Google Adwords campaign with some degree of success, but brought in Hatton Marketing to undertake a thorough analysis of the setup to make their budget work harder for them.
We produced a comprehensive report and made wholesale revisions to keyword selection, bidding, advert wording, and landing pages.
Our results have been impressive: we nearly doubled the overall click through rate up from 2.50% to 4.58%. In niche keyword sectors, we pushed click-through rates to over 10%. Image 1st was paying over the odds for some apparently important keywords so we reduced the number of irrelevant visitors and lowered the site's bounce rate (people who click on but only visit the home page), increasing the length of time and number of pages they read.
We continue to manage the campaign for Image 1st, helping them identify season trends and other opportunities to increase the number of targeted visitors they get from the site.
