Web server and email issues

This morning we've been made aware of a problem with internet routing which is affecting a lot of UK Internet Service Providers. This means that people are having problems viewing websites - you may get a "server unavailable" error. This seems to be an intermittent problem, but isn't an issue with the actual web server. This may also affect email access as well.

Using Ubuntu for Web Design - part

In which we're following the experience of HM's techical director Tim Hatton using Ubuntu for web design... if he can get past playing with the display settings and not downloading games.

Ubuntu and webdesign

HM's technical director, Tim Hatton, had a computer blow up last week - so he's installed Ubuntu on it and is going to be blogging here on his experience with it.  He just likes playing with new things, really...

So my computer is dead.  It is an ex-computer.  The computer I started my web design business (www.timhatton.com) with several years ago with is no more.

Powerful motors, sleek lines... and that's just their website designers

Here at Hatton Marketing we like our classic car website clients as it gives the techies the chance to make brrrrm brrrrm noises while updating their sites. Last Sunday we were delighted to see Neal Garrard from Nicholas Mee - Aston Martin Dealers featured in the Sunday Times' Luxx supplement. An online version of the article can be found by going here: http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/life_and_style/specials/the_times_luxx/ (and click on the "launch latest ezine link" or issue 3 if you're looking at this a bit later...)
